​Caroline - ​I started out as a lawyer and then became a full time mum.  Over the years, I often thought about joining the WI but something always seemed to get in the way.  Then, five years ago I decided to go for it and I turned up unannounced at a monthly meeting.  I was made very welcome, and, as soon as I heard "Jerusalem", I was hooked!  I was keen to get stuck in and now find myself Vice-President, leader of the Handicrafts group and Secretary to the Pennine Group.
I also belong to a group of textile artists and, although I love to knit, crochet and tat, my baking is terrible and I have never made jam!
